Clos Tree Solutions recently removed a VERY hazardous tree on Bostwick Lake (Rockford,MI) for a close friend or ours. This 40+ foot (my best guess) tree was in a VERY precarious position! It fell over in a winter wind storm, was within 5" of hitting the property fence, 4" from hitting the maintenance shed, and was stuck leaning on the neighbor's tree, which was keeping it from hitting their house. This all made it a concern to get down quickly before it did more damage. We had received two other bids. Eric (Clos) responded to our inquiry, visited the site, and got us a quote the same afternoon we contacted him. His quote was 1/3 the cost of the other companies.
I am an engineer, and consider myself as being pretty handy. However, I had NO idea how anyone would be able to get this tree down without heavy equipment and most likely damaging the Shed, fence, or neighbor's house!
Upon Eric's arrival to remove this tree, I watched in amazement as he quickly secured the tree with ropes, maneuvered it safely into the owner's yard, and cut it up in a matter of "no-time". All of this was done with not even a scratch to the shed, fence, or any other property!
